This is a fun side project I completed in 48 hours, It's inspired by Infinite mining games in the game "Blockland" and various Roblox clones.
This was done in Godot and the models/animations were done in Blender. The textures were done in Aesprite. I am using chunks so the game is only ever loading < 500 blocks at any given time.
The character controller is a meticulous 1:1 recreation of the Quake 3 Arena movement in GDscript. Some chunking logic was done in C++.
